Whip Antenna 14 Inch Extension Cable
A low cost solution for moving the whip antenna up to 14 inches away from the radio module used on AirWire equipment.
The whip antenna snaps off the radio module and snaps onto one end of the extension cable.
The other end snaps onto the radio module.
Plug and play simplicity with no tools or soldering required.

Radio Module Antenna Adapter Cable
Has 6 inches of miniature coaxial cable with a UFL plug one end and a REVSMA jack at the other end.
The UFL plug matches any decoder or CONVRTRX having the external antenna socket.
This means any of the Drop-Ins, Plug-Ins, plus any of our decoders and converters with an X in their model number.
Use this cable to match between the X-radio module and any reverse-SMA type plug equipped antenna such as our dome antenna.

Ultra-Miniature Plugs and Sockets
These handmade custom connectors are made in the USA.
Each connector has 8 inches of flexible, 30AWG, red and black wires attached with a molded epoxy strain relief.
The pin pitch is only 50 thousandths of an inch (0.05in or 1.27mm).
The small size makes them perfect for HO battery car installations.
The small socket can fit into a small rectangular hole cut into the bulkhead or end of an HO flatcar.

120 Watt External Power Supply
This is a general purpose switching power supply with an input voltage range from 90 to 240VAC 50/60 Hz.
It is suitable for powering the Linker or any other accessory where a protected, regulated DC power supply is needed.
There are 7 voltage settings selected by a slide switch: 12, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 24 volts.
It also has a built-in USB charging jack.

A Tip From The Pro
An external antenna will improve the operation and range of any AirWire decoder.
An external antenna is mandatory for metal body locomotives.
The least expensive external antenna makes use of the whip extension cable (cat number WEC) to move the small whip to a better location.
It works with all AirWire decoders and CONVRTRs with the "X" suffix.
For large scale outdoor locomotives, the dome antenna is the best solution.
